It is, therefore, an opportunity for them to exercise their ability to pass on their message in an appropriate way and with impact on their audiences. Communicating in a pleasant way is also half the battle towards captivating the attention of the audience for our communicational purposes.Īt this Short Course, we will encourage participants to practice their public communication skills. Whether we have to prepare for work presentations, give an assertive opinion among peers, make small talk or deliver an impromptu speech in social occasions, communicating in a clear and well-structured way is fundamental for passing on our message. It is well illustrated in the common, and rather unfair, popular saying: "Those who cannot express themselves properly, do not think properly". The importance of communicating appropriately in public, whatever our personal circumstances, is undeniable.
